I can make GM the #1 car company as the new CEO

First I will kill any hybrid and electric car programs and fire all staff associated with the projects.

Then hire lawyers and lobbyists to get all safety and environmental regulations rolled back to 1950 standards.

Bring back old cars that were about power and styling instead of pussified jelly beans on wheels.

First 2 cars to come back:

Reissue the 1978 Chevy Monte Carlo and the 1955 Chevy Bellaire.

The niggers/spic and opies will sign over their welfare/unemployment checks to own one and be seen in one.

They need to bring back stripper cars.  We don't need 40k dollar camaros.  Bring back 15k dollar Z28s with a 350 or whatever small block, roll down windows, no a/c and a five speed.

What I don't get is, American cars are NOT price competitive. I would possibly consider a car like the Impala, but the price is equal, if not more than, a similar Camry or Accord. Even with all these dealer incentives, American cars are still too expensive for their perceived quality.

My compact pickup does not have AC but I don't mind it. Sucks in the summer but it's paid for.

A/C can be added to any car with an aftermarket kit for under 1 grand.

If the manufacturer offered it as a dealer installed option the cost would be half of that but with labor it would still cost about a grand. 

Keeping stuff optional is the key.

To buy a fast car people pay for all of this shit that they do not want in the first place.  They should be able to get the biggest engine without stuff like GPS, HID, leather, fancy stereo, etc..

I bought the first year Honda CRX in 1984 with no AC, no radio, no electric anything, 5 speed.  1200cc engine, 1500 lbs.

Most fun car I ever owned.
